Based on my experience, Youtubers gain around 1 dollar for every 1,000 total video views.

So if you look at the total view counts of a channel,

a channel with 1,000 views total earned 1 dollar,
10,000 views, 10 dollars,
100,000 views, 100 dollars,
1,000,000 views, 1,000 dollars,
10,000,000 views, 10,000 dollars,
100,000,000 views, 100,000 dollars,
1,000,000,000 views, 1,000,000 dollars.

You can estimate this as the net worth of a Youtuber. Of course, if they spend their money badly and waste a lot of it, they lose a lot of their net worth. But this is a good estimate of their gross earnings.

100,000,000 views really isn't that unusual for the bigger channels, so such channels already earned 1/10 of a million dollars. A lot of big channels even reach 10 billion views total or more if all the view counts of all their channels are added.

Most average-sized channels have around 1-10 million views total, so they earned around 1,000-10,000 dollars total from Youtube.

Around 90 percent of the channels on Youtube are small channels that have 1,000-10,000 views total, so most Youtube channels earn around 1-10 dollars total from the website.
